Sup world, yes I'm not dead from the apocalypse...
So i started working in this pet shop... At first, me without experience and my simple mind set, i took the world way too simple....
Because as u all know, mind sets and thinkings will change overtime depending on what you've been through or experienced.... After working for around 2 weeks in that shop, i think that humans are more fucked up than they usually are... At first i thought that humans are fucked up already...but to a certain extent... not that over the bar kind of limit yet.... But when i face these fucked up humans longer, they will turn out to be more fucked up than i can ever imagine...
I admit and i know that i love animals, especially dogs. But come on! Dogs are dogs, not human beings... Yes, they are the closest to human beings... They do not cheat and are loyal partners and are good listeners, although they dont give you replies on how u should handle stuff... but they will still listen and not make a fuss about it... Humans are not the best students, as a matter of fact, dogs are. I can give you that. But humans nowdays are not drawing the line or limit between them and the dog...
Lets have an example here. I have a dog named Max.... And there are 4 things that pet owners should pay attention to... My dog max is under 4 categories... 1st, He's an animal. 2nd, He is a species. 3rd, He is a breed. 4th, His name is Max... With this number arrangement, you will have a line or a limit between u n the dog... First, to us, Max is an animal, nothing wrong with that... (In our mindset he is an animal...Remember that)... Second, His species is dog...(For us to set in our mind, that he is a dog to us) Third, He has a breed, lets say golden retriever... And last, his name is max...(this dog has a name and its name is max, our friend)...
As you see it, the arrangement of numbers... they MUST go 1...2...3...4... And humans nowdays, how they treat their dog is.... 4...3...2...1... I didnt say a dog cannot be our friend, but a clear line must be drawn so that things are clearer.... For me, a dog needs discipline... what not to do and what to do when told.... When the dog is your friend, you will play with it and stuff like that... Thats ok for a HUMAN friend... if u start treating a dog as a friend, in the dogs mindset... they will think that you are their follower, means under them... because u feed them... gave them affection...etc...
Customers walk in the shop... mostly 10/10 customers are not able to handle their dog... Their dog will be pulling them all around the shop and shit n pee everywhere... A dog, why are they pulling their owners when they go on a walk? Who usually goes or walks infront of everyone? Its whose in-charge... right? Walking the dog is the fundementals of a balanced dog... You can earn respect from a dog during the walk when u show them who is the real pack leader. People now thinks that walking the dog, literally means WALKING the dog... bring the dog out for a walk... and the owners ended up being pulled everywhere... And what's next? Their arms hurt and they stop bringing their dogs out for walks anymore...
There are a few customers, coming in to buy dog food... They were finding for this specific brand which has no more stock... I politely ask if they would want to try another brand or not.... 8/10 CUSTOMERS will say... "Owh i not sure if my dog likes the taste or not.... if he dont eat...all the food would go to waste" I was like....WTF... now thats too much.... You pay for your dog's food, your dog's gonna eat what u FEED it! You give them rice, they EAT....the rice.. You give them chicken, they EAT... the chicken... You DON'T feed them, they eat NOTHING... As simple as that... why are humans treating their dog MORE than how they treat other humans!!!
Parents, having kids... On the dining table... you give them vegetables... they do not eat... what you do? you dont freaking CHANGE the vegetables... What if they EAT the vegetables? Will u be feeding them the SAME vegetables forever because they DONT EAT other vegetables? When they don't eat their vegetables, some parents punish their kids by disallowing them to leave the dinning table if they do not finish the vegetables...
NOW COME ON! You treat your dog better than your KIDS? Just jump off a roof and die pls.... You gave birth to your kids and now you treat a DOG, which is probably bought or adopted better than your kids? Just let car bang.... I can't say much for those owners who have their dogs allergic to chicken or other ingredients....
Few days before, my parents went to the market to buy stuffs.... They saw a dog owner, carrying her dog on her arms... And my father jokingly said, not sure if that owner treats her parents as good as their dog or not.... Some people really treat their dogs better than they treat their parents.... You need to train your dog.... you give them treats and spend time on them so they know a certain trick... But do they spend that amount of time and patience with their parents? Do they spend more time with their dog or their parents? Although my father jokingly said this, but hey... it makes sense...
I don't know how long can i take it in that shop...facing fucked up humans and most of all...fucked up dogs who are freakingly spoilt! I don't blame the dogs for being spoilt...they do not think that much... Its all about the owners...on how they treat them.... You brought back a dog one day.... if that dog is furious, its because of how the owner brought up the dog....if the dog is healthy and smart...its also about the owners... Because dogs do what they are told... Eventhough you hit them, they wont complain anything and just let you do it... Because we humans/owners are their only closest thing that they can depend on....
Owh well... nobody knows how long i can take it there.... with the bullshit salary and a fucked up supervisor and a fucked up company... I dont hate my jobs or dogs... just that i hate all the above... which is salary, supervisor and company...
Peace out!
